In the wake of Moonring and Skald: Against the Black Priory, here’s another vaguely Ultimaesque top-down RPG with a beautiful tileset and some modern bells and whistles. Where you could lose yourself in Moonring’s systems and lore, Traveller’s Hymn is a smaller, more streamlined affair. It’s a comfortable stomp round an autumnal forest where you’re unlikely to trip over a hidden branch or lose your way among the trees for too long. You explore the world by hopping from one tile to the next, and when you make contact with an enemy there’s a pop-up battle.
