WINDOWS 10 & 11 Change video brightness based on lighting conditions If your computer has a light sensor you can tell Windows to automatically adjust the brightness of videos based on the lighting conditions around you. To check, search for and open Device Manager on your computer, then under Sensors look for a light sensor. If it has one, now press Windows key+I to open Settings, then click Apps followed by ‘Video playback’ (1 in our screenshot below, showing Windows 10 – in Windows 11 the option is on the right).
