Nate Drake shares the delights of this Ubuntu-based distro, using the lightweight JWM. Does anyone else think it should be called Funbuntu?

However, its focus is on stability, so the latest versions are based on LTS (Long Term Support) releases of its parent OS. FunOS also stands out as it abhors a traditional desktop environment in favour of JWM. The developers claim this results in fast and responsive performance. We used the link on the main site to download the 1.9GB ISO from SourceForge. As we did so, we read through the release notes, which state that FunOS 24.04.1 ships with Linux kernel 6.8.0-41.
