LABS | INTEL CORE DESKTOP PROCESSORS (14TH GEN) PRICE $699 The Intel Core i7-14700K is the workhorse CPU in Intel’s 14th generation and, like any good workhorse, it needs to do some heavy lifting. Fortunately it’s more than capable of that. For a start, it’s the only processor of the three to get a substantive upgrade to its specifications. Rather than the eight performance and eight efficiency cores (P-cores and E-cores) of the i7-13700K, the i7-14700K comes with eight P-cores and 12 E-cores, all running with a slightly higher turbo boost clock for extra performance.
