So, on paper at least, the Core i5-14600K is the best Intel processor for the mainstream user. The problem for the i5-14600K is that its performance is tragically close to the Core i5-13600K’s. As long as that chip is on sale, it will be better value, and you won’t notice a difference between the two in terms of day-to day-performance.
