Setting budgets

One way to curb your spending is by setting monthly limits on what you spend on specific categories. By default, all accounts are included in budgets. If you want to exclude individual accounts for any reason, open Manage > Accounts from the main screen, select your account and tick ‘Exclude from the budget’ on the Options tab. Next, set your budget or budgets via Manage > Budget. Verify that Expense is selected, so only expense-related categories and subcategories are visible. Select the one you want to track. From here you can set a monthly budget or set budgets for different months of the year.
