Back up with iTunes

Create an additional backup of your iOS devices using iTunes.

Although iCloud backups of your iOS devices can generally be relied upon, it never hurts to have a secondary backup in a different location. That’s where iTunes comes in. If you’re familiar with the world of iOS before iCloud, then backing up like this might be covering old ground, but if you’ve always relied on iCloud it’s time to start backing up with iTunes. It’s best to keep your iCloud backups running, but use the manual back up and restore options for iTunes. They’ll need encrypting too if you want to save things like passwords and Health data.
