Partition your drive

1 VERIFY PARTITION Open the free AOMEI Partition Assistant app, right-click the C drive and choose Advanced > Check Partition. Perform a simple partition check – if errors are found, click Yes and wait while your PC reboots and the Disk Check tool attempts repairs. If necessary, re-run the check until no errors are found. 2 SHRINK YOUR C DRIVE Select drive C again, only this time choose Resize/Move Partition under Partition Operations instead. Use the slider to reduce drive C’s size to leave sufficient space for your data partition – as a rule, leave a minimum of 10GB free on drive C for future programs and apps to occupy – then click OK. 3 CREATE A PARTITION Finally, select the unallocated space and click Create Partition.
