Brilliant despite some flaws. But farcically expensive.

In the world of increasingly similar, shiny, glass oblongs that is the smartphone market, the annual launch of the latest Samsung flagship traditionally represents a breath of fresh air — even if it’s not always for the right reasons. Has the new S10+ let the side down? Let’s see: unnecessarily thin bezel? Check. Bonkers new innovations that don’t work properly? Check. Superlative camera performance? Check. Same flaws that haven’t been fixed for years? Check. Genuine innovation? Check. Overcrowded interface that’s packed with bloatware? Negative. Samsung is launching four flavours of the S10. The standard version has a 6.1-inch curved screen while the S10+ is 6.4-inches and a second selfie camera. A forthcoming 5G version has a 6.7-inch screen while a new, ‘budget’ S10e has a flat, 5.8-inch screen. CLASSY DESIGN…
