Asus’ Maximus Apex series motherboards have quickly built a reputation for superb overclocking. While all Republic of Gamers (ROG) boards are highly capable overclockers, it’s the Apex series that takes things to the next level. Asus usually takes its time with Apex development. Z390 motherboards have been available for some time, and despite being teased for many months it’s only now that the Maximus XI Apex is making its debut.
