The magazine you hold in your hands is the 100th issue of Ancient Warfare — not counting the handful of specials and, of course, the 'Introductory brochure' (or volume I, issue 0). There is a more factual retrospective elsewhere in this issue, but I figured a personal note was justified here. After all, I founded this magazine, and though I did not edit every single one of the 100 issues — Josho Brouwers was at the helm for 26, from issue VI.5 through X.6 — I was involved in one way or another with each and every one.
