Jul, jul, magiska jul

I slutet av november börjar mitt stora uppdrag. Jag spanar upp mot fönsrtena i grannskapet, jag ska inte vara först. Där! Där hänger minsann en stjärna i fönstret, hos en annan julälskande främling. Och så går jag raka vägen hem, upp till vinden och tar ner lådan med julstjärnor och julgardiner. När sedan första veckan i december kommer, så kommer även den småländska granförsäljaren till torget. Likt ett litet barn går jag upp till torget, med en kittlande förväntan, och med en måttligt imponerad make bredvid. Jag klämmer och luktar på granarna, ska det bli en kungsgran eller rödgran? Det blir en klassiska rödgran, som alltid. De luktar riktig jul och påminner mig om när pappa varje år kom in med en nyhuggen gran, direkt från skogen. Väl hemma är…
