CSR – NORTHERN SECTION STILL CLOSED (WA) Lake Gregory (Paruku) straddles the northern section of the Canning Stock Route. Recent heavy rains have flooded the lake, and this northern section is closed and could remain so for another few months. 4X4 Australia’s Ron Moon has just travelled the stock route and reports flooding around Well 25. However, there is a rough bypass track around the flooded area. CREB TRACK & CAPE TRIBULATION-BLOOMFIELD ROAD (QLD) The Cape Tribulation-Bloomfield Road has been reopened after damage caused by Tropical Cyclone Jasper late las year. At this stage the CREB Track is still closed and will remain so until after the completion of the emergency repairs. No access will be permitted to the public during this time as a matter of safety.
