YOU WILL NEED ■A DK yarn from your stash, 3 x 50g balls in a creamy colour ■ A pair of 4mm needles TENSION Yarn used knits as DK to this tension: 1 pattern rep meas 9cm (3½in) wide. We think this lace edging is a lovely flourish to add to the stalwart picnic blanket – go on, give it a little treat!
