Facebook et TikTok sont de mauvais élèves d’après des chercheurs américains. Dans un rapport du 21 octobre, ils expliquent avoir soumis vingt publicités contenant de fausses informations à plusieurs plateformes. Celles-ci portaient sur les élections de mi-mandat américaines. Résultat, TikTok en a diffusé 90 % alors que les publicités politiques y sont interdites. Cet été, le réseau social avait pourtant durci sa modération contre la désinformation électorale.
