LE JEU VIDÉO EN FRANCE CONCERNE PRÈS DE 37,4 MILLIONS DE PERSONNES, DONT 88 % D’ADULTES. Les jeux vidéo représentent également un important levier social. 60% jouent à plusieurs, en ligne ou en local, et 32 % ont le sentiment d’appartenir à une communauté. Les jeunes de 15 à 24 ans représentent 7,1 millions d’adeptes Ils privilégient les jeux faciles d’accès (casual games), d’action et de rôle. Longtemps considéré comme un univers masculin, le secteur se démocratise et concerne aussi la gent féminine. 49 % des joueurs sont des femmes. 6,3 MILLIONS de joueurs sont âgés de 60 ans et plus.
